![]() When I try to install the newer version I can't. I uninstalled Adobe Shockwave Player app and the file loads normally. When I try to load a file with sound an error appears saying that the file is invalid. Well, I don't have Adobe Shockwave Player 10.0 but I have 8.5. I have tried several times and the error always happens. ![]() ![]() The installer sends a game file to the user and, when trying to load that, he obtains an error message that the file is too big to be loaded. I have a similar problem but with several files: I download a game from the internet, install it. ![]() The size of the file does make a difference, as when the file is like 32MB or less, it plays OK, but when the file becomes bigger, it's the problems that happen. All tests show that I have more than 6GB RAM, and this is all of the RAM that is available. The only thing I can think of is maybe a RAM size issue, and maybe I need to name this a RAM size issue of the Java version as opposed to the flash version, but I'm not sure. Also when this happens, the "speed" indicator just goes to the left and the audio buffer shows up as if the files are buffered. The main issue is that it does not respond to any action on the files as if they were "ugly" (the video is the same size, yet it has these strange and ugly components that just flicker in and out of view). I downloaded the latest SW Player 8.5 and it can play most of the files at least at a video size. You should search the forums for this topic and all the threads on it as there should be a solution presented. The development team developed a workaround for this. A follow-up message indicates that the next bug fix would be in the form of an End of Life release.
